Juris Altus Academy is the education wing of Juris Altus — a legal knowledge and services platform by M & D Law Associates LLP, headquartered in Panchkula, India. Our mission is to bridge the widening gap between legal education and courtroom practice by offering practical, skills-based training from advocates who practise daily before the Punjab & Haryana High Court.
After 22+ years of High Court practice, 50+ PILs filed, 3,000+ RTI applications, and thousands of writ petitions drafted, we noticed a consistent pattern: young advocates and law graduates entering practice were fundamentally unprepared for the realities of litigation. Law schools teach doctrine but not drafting. They teach theory but not the art of structuring an argument that persuades a Bench. Juris Altus Academy was created to fix this gap.
Every course at Juris Altus Academy is designed and taught by practising advocates — not retired academics. Our founding partner, Advocate Ravinder Singh Dhull (Bar No. P-991/2003), is a former Additional Advocate General of Haryana with deep expertise in constitutional law, service law, criminal defence, and public interest litigation. Students learn from the same professionals who appear in court daily.
